Opportunities!

I am so proud of our little church and all the missions we are doing soon. We have a food bank called the Manna Market opening in March as well as a pregnancy resource center, which will eventually be a health clinic. Also we are opening a preschool! I am so excited about that. They are using the Abeka curriculum. Eventually we want to have a christian school and there are so many other things that will be coming. I hope I can use my background as a CMA and working in the OB office to help out at the pregnancy center. I know God will use me where he wants me and I look forward to serving Him!

Valentine's Day

OK. I know Valentine's day is past. It was my 7 year anniversary! We are broke so we didn't get to go out but we want to go to St Louis this spring with the girls and go to the children's museum and the zoo. My hubby did get me a rose and a hammock in a bag so I can relax and read my books when it's warm and the Mr Clean reach bathroom kit. I know it sounds like such an odd gift but I'm a total neat/clean freak and I love cleaning supplies!! I loved it. Clorox wipes are my favorite though. I know my hubby thinks I'm part OCD but once I clean and the house has that smell I am a fanatic.

Amazing Love

What an amazing love He has for us!!! He takes away my shame. He is alive for I know my Redeemer lives. I love listening to my children praying and talking to God. It's such an amazing feeling to know that I am molding them into women of God. We don't have riches, or a huge house or fancy cars or clothes. We do have a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food to eat, a vehicle to get us to church and to work. I have a husband who loves me. I have two healthy children who are safe. I have a lot of family and friends who are there for anything I need. I am truly blessed. I have a Father who loves me unconditionally. He formed me and He knows me. I only hope that I continue to grow in my walk with Him and that I am a great leader for my girls to honor Him in everything they do.

Girlfriends

I have made some great friends over the years. Some of my best friends I have met through church. The best friends I will ever have though I met in junior high. We had all been friends through grade school but in junior high we formed our "group". We called ourselves the "10". Connie, Tracy, Trisha, Lori, Tara, Jodi, Jessica, Susan, Sonya and I. We did everything together. We fought, we laughed, we cried, we got into trouble but we made a lot of memories. After we graduated we added Julie and Jennifer to our "group". We have all been the best of friends ever since ~ 17 years later!!! We all live in different cities and we don't get to get together that often but when we do it's like we were never apart. We are there for each other for anything. I cherish every memory we have made and we will make in the future. Hold onto your friends and treat them like gold. Tell them you love them. You never know what tomorrow holds!!

To all my friends new and old ~ I Love You!!!!!

Hope 2 years

When Faith was almost 3 we decided it we wanted another baby. After 10 months of trying I found out I was pregnant! I was so worried because I was afraid I wouldn't love her as much as I did Faith. I couldn't imagine loving someone else like I did my first but she came and I do. You just love them both and it's amazing. Again a great delivery and Hope Avery Jones was here. She had a bowel movement and swallowed some and they had to watch her in the nursery so we weren't able to hold her until about 8 hours after we had her. We are working on potty training right now. She loves to sing and dance too.

I was 28 when I got married. Jamie and I were both ready for children. I think we got pregnant the day we started trying. I loved being pregnant (except the constant sickness for the first 3 months ~ I actually lost 10 pounds). I especially loved the delivery. I always hear women complain about the delivery process but I think the delivery experience is wonderful!! I went in on a Thursday night to be induced they gave me medication to ripen my cervix and Saturday morning they were going to start the meds to start my labor but it started on it's own an hour before I was scheduled. When it was time for the epidural the anesthesiologist "missed" and had to stick me again. It was on cloud 9 for about 1/2 hour and then it wore off but after 4 pushes Faith Renee Jones was here. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I remember just staring at her and counting her fingers and toes over and over again. I still get shivers when I stare into her big beautiful blue eyes. She is 6 and is in Kindergarten now. She loves church and her friends. She loves to sing and dance and make up her own songs. We have never cut her hair (yes we trim it) and it's down to her "tushy" now. She wants it cut short and I told her I would do it if we cut off 12 inches and donated it to Locks of Love. My hubby is absolutely against it but we'll see. It's so amazing you can love someone so much!

New Blog

I wanted to start a blog for my friends and family to see my journal and pictures of the girls. They are 6 and 2 now. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I'm a work at home mome. I do medical transcription from home, which is difficult sometimes with the girls running around. I also clean a house two days a week. We are thinking about a possible third baby in the next couple of years. We have a cat, Max and we just got a new black lab puppy so our house is a little busy. Faith is in Kindergarten. My husband Jamie and I have been married for 7 years. Valentine's Day was our anniversary. We live on the west side of Evansville. We attend Living Hope Community Church in Boonville. I teach with the K/1st grade class, do Hands Of Praise and Jamie and I are youth sponsors. I want my girls to grow up knowing God and to be strong, beautiful women that honor Him. I am just hoping my family can use this to watch the girls as they grow.
