Babies, babies....

Trin had her baby and a dear friend from church is pregnant!! Please keep her in prayers. She and her husband have been trying for 7 years to get pregnant. She's lost 5 babies and has a few failed adoptions. They have never given up and held their faith in God and He gave them a little baby. She is 8 weeks along and they saw a heartbeat on Thursday. Penny has never made it far enough to see a heart beat yet to this is an amazing thing. Praise God!!!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)

New Baby!!

My bestest friend Trinity (http://the-matthews-family-blog.blogspot.com) had her baby!! Ms Gabrielle (pronounced Gobriella) Arwin was born today. She's 7 pounds 13 ounces, 19 inches long. She is beautiful!!! I don't have any pics of her yet. She came into the world today at 1:41 p.m. Mom is doing great and looks wonderful. Dad is happy as ever. She has a brother Anakin, and two sisters Anastasia and Sorsha to welcome her home. She has dark curly hair and chubby little cheeks. I can't wait to get a hold of her!!!

Praise God!! They are pretty behind because I guess they haven't had anyone doing the transcription so I'm going to work a few days a week for a while until it's caught up and I get used to the way they do things then they said I could work Monday/Thursday 8-12 or 9-1 or Tuesday/Friday, whatever works. How great is that!!?? I start on Monday. I can still clean the one house I do for a while too.

100 pieces of helpful information to know about me!

OK. My friends are doing 100 things about them lists so I have to join in too just for fun.

2. I love to clean. I clean my house every day. I love Clorox wipes and my swiffer vac!

3. Sometimes especially when it's pretty outside I love to climb in the car and just drive and listen to music really loud and sing! Although with the price of gas that's getting harder to be able to do.

4. I'm anal. There is a place for everything in my house. If you move a picture an inch to the left I will notice it!!

5. As clean as I love to keep my house my car is just the opposite. It's absolutely embarrasing for people to see how dirty it is but with the girls and we spend so much time in it and eat in it I just give up keeping it clean!

6. I love 80's movies.

7. I love my church. Living Hope Community Church. It is truly our 2nd home. I love all the people. They are truly our family. I love our pastor and his wife Stacey to the core of my being.

We started talking one night in March and moved in together in June, got engaged in October, pregnant in November, married in February and a baby in July! (All pre christian days!)

25. I didn't become a christian until 2002. We were having marital problems and went to Aaron for counseling and started going to church and fell in love with it.

Well I wanted something just a couple of days a week and Thursday I get a call from a company that does hiring for medical offices. It's transcription for a neurologic office Tuesdays and Fridays 8-12! I went Friday for an interview and the doctor called me yesterday and I have another interview today at 1:30...praise God! I will still do my other transcription at home and I clean a house once a week. My friend Perri told me about a lady who does cooking for people. She goes to their home and prepares meals for them for up to a week and they store them in their fridge or freezer and just follow the heating directions. She gave me the name and number of a lady who does this and I'm going to get with her and see if she needs help or can let me follow her to see how she does things. The pregnancy resource center and food pantry open May 10th!!! I am so excited to about both but especially the PRC. I can't wait to talk to these young ladies and hopefully make an impact in their lives!

Great Friends

Some of you may have noticed I deleted my Confusion and Frustration blog!! I had several of my dearest friends worried about our financial situation, which I appreciate so much but I didn't want it to sound like I was complaining about our finances. We are getting by and God provides our needs...Amen! My main "complaint" was the struggle I was having with my hubby and his attitude towards my wanting to volunteer at the food pantry and PRC. He thought I should get a job or be working rather than driving to volunteer and spending the gas money on the drive and having someone watch the girls while I did it. We have had several talks and I'm trying to explain to him that this is a mission calling for me and the PRC nor pantry is open all day and when I do volunteer the girls will be with me. I am cleaning a house and doing my transcription as well as being a stay at home mom. I appreciate all of my friends I have and I love you all dearly. I know God will continue to provide our needs and I can still be at home and do my work on the sides to provide a supplemental income for our family. I also got a call last week for another transcription job in house for a neurologist two days a week.....praise God!! Just pray that I get that too. Again, thanks for all your support, prayer and concern!!! I Love You!
